I was tasked with developing the 2026 visual identity for the Australian Digital Health Agency recruitment campaign. The branding needed to align with the core slogan “More than a job. It’s a calling” while providing a fresh aesthetic for the new year.
A core consideration for this campaign was the need for a system that was simple to implement and compatible with the agency’s existing photographic library. It was essential that the branding was low budget but instantly recognisable, consisting of custom elements that could be applied to existing videos and imagery without the need for a custom photoshoot.
To modernise the look, I transitioned the agency’s existing colour palette into a freeform gradient. This approach maintained a clear link to the primary brand while creating a distinct identity specifically for recruitment.
The gradient was designed with utility in mind. Because the colours flow and blend seamlessly, they provide a flexible foundation for motion graphics, HTML5 banners, and video content. This fluid movement serves as a visual metaphor for digital health transformation, reflecting an organisation that is constantly evolving.
Social Media and HTML5 Tiles
To support rapid recruitment needs, I created a series of 1:1 animated tiles. These samples demonstrate how static imagery can be combined with gradient “light leaks” to highlight specific job roles.
I designed these assets to be templated, allowing the team to quickly produce and deploy content whenever a new position is advertised. While primarily built for LinkedIn posts, the templates are also optimised for use as paid HTML5 display ads.
Motion Graphics and Video Transitions
The animated gradient also serves as a functional transition tool for video content. In these examples, the gradient flows over live-action footage to create a seamless bridge into a full-page animated end screen. This provides a consistent backdrop for the campaign slogan and key call-to-action text, ensuring a professional finish across all video marketing assets.
