Norton Rose Fulbright is a global law firm providing business law services to major corporations and financial institutions. With more than 3,000 lawyers and over 50 offices worldwide, the firm is established as a key player in the global legal market with a strong focus on industry sectors.

As the Senior Design Lead for the Asia-Pacific region, I looked after all creative coming out of the Australian, Indonesian, Papua New Guinea, and Hong Kong offices. I reported directly to the Creative Director in London and managed a team of five designers, with two based in-house and three in Manila. My role was a balance of leadership and execution; while I managed the triage and workflow of day-to-day requests for the wider team, I remained hands-on with the creative design for larger campaigns and high-priority projects.

I designed bespoke print materials for pitches to major organisations such as Qantas, Pfizer, Deliveroo, and Woolworths that adhered to the firm’s branding while catering to the specific aesthetic of the client.

I worked extensively on the merger campaign between Norton Rose Fulbright and Henry Davis York, creating a suite of assets to announce the partnership. This included newspaper advertisements and widespread Out of Home (OOH) marketing. I designed animated screens for elevators, LCD boards, and TVs, as well as high-visibility assets for Australian airports. These designs were displayed in business lounges and on the main screens at Qantas departure gates in Sydney and Melbourne.

In addition to print and environmental design, I managed the digital visual output for the firm. This included designing social media tiles for LinkedIn and Facebook. I also created video animations which were used for social media engagement and by the bids and tender teams to showcase the firm’s capabilities to select clients.
