The Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) is a government entity responsible for the development and operation of Australia's national digital health strategy. Their website serves as a critical information hub for both healthcare providers and the general public, facilitating access to essential services like My Health Record, Electronic prescriptions and Telehealth resources.
As an independent design exercise, I took on the project to reimagine the agency's digital presence and bring the user experience up to modern standards. The goal of this self-initiated redesign was to modernise the website and establish visual consistency across the entire platform. I developed a set of modular components designed for reuse throughout the site, allowing new pages to be quickly implemented while maintaining a unified design language.
My web design process starts with the mobile form factor. Because the majority of users access this site via mobile devices, it was essential to prioritize this experience rather than treating it as a secondary version of a desktop site.
I focused on how components shift and adapt across different breakpoints, ensuring that the navigation and layout remain functional as the screen scales up to desktop. This approach ensures a consistent experience regardless of how a user accesses the site.
Newsroom & News Article
The newsroom layout improves the organization of media releases and updates. The article view focuses on typography and clear hierarchy to make long-form information easier to read.
Careers
The careers page is designed to clearly outline current opportunities and the agency’s culture. The layout focuses on straightforward navigation to help potential candidates find relevant roles quickly.
My Health Record Stats Dashboard
This dashboard translates complex data into clear, visual summaries. I used consistent data visualization components to ensure that statistics remain easy to interpret across both mobile and desktop views.
Service Status
This page provides a clear overview of system uptime and maintenance schedules for key services. It uses a simple visual system to communicate current operational status and any ongoing issues to the public.
